Our story
Inspired by a guiding constellation, Boötes Academy helps people navigate life’s transitions through practical learning, personal support and the confidence to build their future.
Boötes Academy grew from a simple observation: the most important transitions in life—into work, into new fields, into new countries and into new stages of identity—require more than information. They require orientation, support and the confidence to act.
The name Boötes refers to a constellation that has historically guided travellers through unfamiliar spaces. We carry this idea into education: helping people find orientation in complexity and move towards a future with greater clarity and confidence.

Founded on practical experience
Read Peter’s storyBoötes Academy was founded by Peter Boelsterli, an architect, design educator and institution-builder with experience across Europe and Asia.
His work has focused on creating learning environments where art, technology, design and real-world practice meet. Through Boötes Academy, he brings this experience to a new generation of learners—people who want to build meaningful careers in a world shaped by AI, global mobility and continuous change.
